Symposia
Within the framework of the centre’s artist-in-residence programme, international symposia are organised each year in different artistic disciplines, including painting, printmaking, textile art, ceramics, photography and sculpture. Artists from different parts of the world come to Daugavpils for these symposia. As stipulated in regulations, each participant donates to the Rothko Centre at least two works created during the symposium, thereby adding to the centre’s art collection and gaining the right to list the Rothko Centre in their biography as a place that holds some of their work.
