The Collection of Mark Rothko Painting`s Reproductions was developed in collaboration with Daugavpils Regional History and Art Museum, Rothko family and the U.S. Embassy in Latvia. The Collection was donated to the city municipality in 2003, during the celebration of centennial anniversary of the artist. There are 41 museum quality copies of the paintings (printed on canvas in the original size) which represent different periods of the artist’s creative work.
